Jo Freya was born Jo Fraser. Here she performs in a band with her sister. Fi plays fiddle, clarinet, hammer dulcimer and sings; Jo is on Saxes, clarinets, whistles and voice. What marks these sisters apart is their ability to pick a wonderful range of diverse material. If they like it they’ll sing anything from Tom Waits to a traditional ballad. They are multi-instrumentalists bring freshness to many dance rhythms and there music is enhanced by Ralph Jordan on Guitar/Bazouki/concertina and cittern and Dave Sturt on bass.
